Chiropractic care is a form of alternative health care, based on the knowledge that your body is innately capable of healing itself. Just like when we experience a tiny cut on our fingers, or catch a light flu. Instead of taking medication that may only mask up any issues rather than resolving it, chiropractors use a hands-on approach to correct subluxation, aka misalignment in the spine, reducing nerve interference in order to feel better.
The spine is one of the most important parts of our body, for without it, we would not be able to keep ourselves upright or even stand up. It gives our body structure and support, allowing us to move about freely and to bend with flexibility. Another important role of our spine, is to protect our spinal cord. The spinal cord is a column of nerves that connects our brain with the rest of the body, allowing us to control movements. Without a spinal cord, we would not be able to move any part of our body, and our organs would not function. This is why keeping our spine healthy is vital if we want our body to function at its greatest potential, for life. Essentially, when there is subluxation, our spine is out of alignment and can often lead to several symptoms.
Common symptoms of Subluxation include:
Headaches / Mirgraines
Dizziness / Vertigo
Reduced range of motion or spinal mobility
Numbness / Tingling sensation
Soreness / Tenderness
Shoulder / Elbow / Knee / Ankle Pain
and many more
This is why chiropractic is fast gaining its popularity in the health care industry all over the world today.

Chiropractic allows us to tap into our natural health potential that resides within you.
The general healthcare system often looks at our body systems individually, separating the physical and emotional, rather than as a collective whole that includes connections between the physical and emotional. When we learn to acknowledge the emotions linked to our pain, the body releases it on a more wholesome level, making a complete release.
Chiropractic and Reiki believes in the body’s innate ability to heal itself at its root cause, whether that is physically, mentally or emotionally. Our body know best where the healing is needed and is not guided by our human egos and wants. Our body work to protect us in ways unimaginable to keep us alive and surviving more then we know and understand.
Reiki is commonly used as a holistic approach to provide support and balance to each individual and healing on all levels; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It enables us to see and understand that healing is about more than just the physical body, enabling us to explore the deep rooted causes that could be potential causes of the physical pain you may be experiencing, allowing better solutions for our well-being.
Reiki is a energy based healing technique that uses only non-invasive touch or sometimes merely the proximity of the practitioner’s hands to move around particular parts of the body, hands hovering over the client, manipulating the energy throughout the body. Reiki is known to promote relaxation, balancing the body's energies, therefore promoting the body’s natural healing, soothing pain and improves overall well-being.
We are all exposed to stress in many ways and sometimes we need extra help to release that stress from our body. Reiki, in my personal opinion, works extremely well for emotional and mental well-being. There are many other therapies available to soothe physical symptoms and way fewer options for our spiritual body. In our experience, complementary therapies are extremely effective as it works on your body as a whole, on all levels from the inside out for complete wellness and healing. Having said that, Reiki healing, by no means should replace conventional medical treatment.
Chiropractic, coupled with Reiki, is one sure way to tap into our bodies' intelligence in reaching its highest healing potential beyond the physical state.
At Tehara Dream, we practice the traditional Usui method which requires no religious beliefs or spiritual background.
